Thank you for starting your journey to learn the English language with Gazelle English. Whether you began years ago or are new to the effort, it’s a joy to have you join in.

Learning a new language can be both delightful and daunting. Moments can be awkward trying to pronounce a sound that isn’t familiar. I know, from personal experience, how it feels to look foolish, like the time I used an inappropriate word in Arabic instead of “person,” and hundreds of people saw my mistake.  But that is the beauty of learning together.  We can work to encourage one another while growing in knowledge and community.

  • 1-on-1 English Lessons with Kim
      • I like to include a little grammar, listening, speaking, and reading in each lesson. I’m also happy to tailor the lesson to suit your needs. Some of my students like to spend 30 minutes reading and 30 minutes in conversation. Others want to focus on preparing for the IELTS exam. We will discuss your needs and goals and tailor fit the lessons for you.

      • Join me for future Live Conversation Courses!️ Learn with Kim from Gazelle English, a native English speaker, born and raised in the USA 🇺🇸. In every lesson we will discuss a different topic, you’ll be guided by me and receive excellent feedback and corrections. Supplemental support on WhatsApp will be provided.
      4-7 students per course. Courses will run for six weeks, one hour long for twice a week and will be held on the Zoom or Google Meet applications. The level will be determined based on the level of interested participants.

    7:00am to 7:00pm EST (Detroit/New York time)

    I teach elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, and advanced levels of English. I prefer not to teach beginners as I like my students to have basic English to understand the activities and my directions on Zoom or Google Meet.

    My live courses are held throughout the year and are typically held during weekday afternoons (EST) and sometimes on Saturdays. If you live in the Middle East, they will take place in the evening hours.

    I use PayPal, Stripe, and Venmo (for students in the United States). I send an invoice with these applications. There will be a slight surcharge due to transaction fees.

    I am a Cybersecurity Engineer. In late 2020 , I reached out to Kim to help me improve my English language. She has become a huge asset for me in assisting me with accurate translations. She has provided me with thousands of words, sentences, and paragraphs. I have recognized strength of character, determination, joy, and confidence in her. She is really a great teacher and I'm deeply thankful for her.
